# finds.supply

> Your tiny museum of finds. Send any Instagram reel or post to @finds.supply in your DMs. It comes back as a find on your page: the closest match and cheaper lookalikes, what people say about it, a place on your map, or a labelled recipe, film or idea.

finds.supply works entirely inside Instagram DMs: there is no app to install and no account to create. People share a reel or post to @finds.supply; an automated assistant works out what it shows, writes a short museum-style label, finds the closest match and cheaper lookalikes, looks up what people say about it, and replies with a link and suggested follow-up questions. A few minutes later it may send one message summing up what people say. People can also chat with it about their finds. Operated by The Good Tayeb L.L.C-FZ.

Key facts:
- Finds pages live at https://finds.supply/<handle> and are public by default; making them private takes one tap.
- Every public finds page and find has a plain-markdown version: add ".md" to its address, e.g. https://finds.supply/<handle>.md or https://finds.supply/<handle>/<find>.md. Use these to read a find's closest match, cheaper lookalikes, what people say about it and the credited creator.
- Products show the closest match (never claimed to be the exact item), plus cheaper lookalikes sorted by price. A "wrong item?" fix is always one tap away.
- Places to eat get a place card and a pin on the user's map. Recipes keep their key facts (like ingredients), films their year and makers, events their date; ideas get tags.
- Products and places get "what people say": a verdict, what people love, the catch and tips, summarised from reviews with the sources listed.
- Reels show as short silent loops in their real shape on the find page; "See more on Instagram" opens the original post.
- Anyone can save a public find to their own page ("Save to my finds").
- The original creator is always credited and linked. Creators' own affiliate links are never replaced.
- Replica / counterfeit listings are dropped.
- Some product links are affiliate links; this is disclosed on every item and finds page.
- MCP connector: people can connect their own finds to Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP client at https://finds.supply/mcp (OAuth with their finds.supply login, read-only). How: https://finds.supply/connect.
- Current status: private testing on Instagram (2026-11-03: Docs).
