Privacy policy.

Museums are public by default

Every find you forward is published to your museum at finds.supply/<your handle>, which anyone with the link can see and search engines may index. You can make your whole museum, or a single find, private with one tap at any time.

What we collect

From Instagram (via the Instagram API with Instagram Login): your Instagram-scoped user ID, your username, and the messages, reels, posts and images you send to @finds.supply, including the original creator's handle and caption.

From you on finds.supply: the handle you pick, your email address (used for sign-in links and account notices), and the edits and privacy settings you make.

Automatically: basic usage events (for example, a museum page view or a click on a shopping link), stored without advertising identifiers.

How we use it

To understand what you forwarded, clean up the image, find the closest product match or the place, build your museum, reply to you in the DM, and keep the service secure. We use automated tools, including AI models, to do this. Replies from @finds.supply are automated.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Who we share it with

Service providers that process data on our behalf: Cloudflare (hosting, storage, AI gateway), Google (Gemini for understanding media; Google Places and Maps for place details), SerpApi (product search), and an affiliate network for shopping links. For places we store only Google's place ID and fetch details when a page is viewed.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your museum exists. You can delete single finds, or your whole account and everything in it, at any time. See Data deletion.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, or object to processing, by emailing privacy@finds.supply. We answer within 30 days.
