Using finds.supply

Chatting with the bot

The finds.supply bot saves what you send, looks into it for you, suggests what to ask next and answers questions. Reply stop to pause the follow-ups.

@finds.supply is an automated assistant. It saves what you send, looks into it for you, and answers questions about your finds. It writes like a friend, keeps it short, and stays quiet when you do.

Suggested replies

Messages end with suggestions above your keyboard. Tap one instead of typing:

  • What do people say? The verdict, what people love and the catch, right away.
  • Anything cheaper? The lookalikes that cost less than the closest match.
  • Wrong item? We take another look at the match.
  • Open my finds: a link to your page.

Suggestions show in the Instagram app, not on instagram.com.

What people say, a few minutes later

After you've sent products or places, the bot waits until you've gone quiet for about 15 minutes, then sends one message with what people say about them, the closest match and a cheaper option. Send five reels in a row and you get one message, not five.

Instagram only lets us message you within 24 hours of your last message, so we never message you after that. The research stays on your finds either way.

After you watch the reel

When you tap See more on Instagram on your own find, the bot may check in a few minutes later: was it the one you were after? It does this at most once a day and once per find, and not if you're already chatting.

Ask it anything

  • "Which of my lamps would suit a small studio?" It picks one and sends you that find.
  • "I'm in Dubai." Store searches then prefer shops that ship to you.
  • "Make my page private."
  • "How do I use this in ChatGPT?"

It remembers what you tell it about your taste and where you shop, to make its answers better.

Quiet, please

Reply stop and the follow-ups and check-ins stop. Everything you send still gets saved. Reply start to turn them back on. If you don't reply to a few in a row, it backs off on its own.

First time in the chat

Opening our chat for the first time shows four quick questions: how it works, saving a reel, your page, and whether it's free. Tap one to start.
